It’s a great time to be a journalist

This link mentions the freelancing panel I was on at SPJ, though it doesn’t cite my line that it’s a great time to be a journalist, unless you have kids and a mortgage.   I just ran across it, and it’s the only thing I’ve seen that posts on the subject. I enjoyed that panel, and learned some things from my fellow panelists, so I was sorry it didn’t get blogged (and I haven’t figured out how to blog and talk at the same time).
