Reuters just created a position for and hired an Enterprise Editor, which means it’s too late for me to pull a ‘what color is your parachute?’ and write to it, telling it it needs just such a person and I should be it. In fact, it hired Jim Impoco, the former Fortune/NYT/Portfolio editor. I’ve met him once. He has a great handshake to go with his resume. Hey Jim, need a deputy?
