Obama at the law school

The NYT has a look at Barack Obama as a law lecturer at U of Chicago (A xhref=http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/30/us/politics/30law.html>The Long Run.  Besides being an incisive reminder of how broad-minded Obama can be, and how resilient (turning down a tenured professorship at a time when his political career appeared over), it was fun to read on a personal level.  It brought me back a bit to my college days — my dorm was connected to the law school, and at the time first-year law students lived in it. Had he been there just a few years earlier, I would’ve known some of the anecdotes.  I did take one class at the law school during college, taught by Phil Kurland, a huge crossword fan. I did not take a class with Dennis Hutchinson, who is quoted in the piece, but had friends who did.
